Owner of Infinity Longevity and Wellness Referral Service Pleads Guilty Again

Former police officer Anthony Forgione pleaded guilty once again to steroid-related charges while on probation for illegally selling anabolic steroids and human growth hormone through an anti-aging clinic in 2008.

In 2003, Forgione was fired from the Boca Raton Police Department after admitting to using anabolic steroids for almost a decade.

In 2008, Forgione pleaded guilty to charges related to the sale of anabolic steroids and human growth hormone (HGH) through Infinity Longevity anti-aging clinic and his ‘wellness referral service.’ The indicted resulted out of the Operation Which Doctor investigation led by the Albany County District Attorney in New York. Man Pleads Guilty to Selling Steroids with Fake Prescription Labels

Michael Wozny pleaded guilty to possessing anabolic steroids with the intent to distribute. An investigation by the local sherriff’s department, the FDA Office of Criminal Investigation, the Department of Justice and the U.S. Postal Inspection service uncoveredapproximately one kilogram of steroid powder after a search warrant was executed at his residence in November 2007. USPS Pro Cycling Team and Defrauding the Government

The government is seeking to build a case against cyclist Lance Armstrong and/or his teammates for defrauding the U.S. government should they be found guilty of violating anti-doping rules.

Sponsors of the United States Postal Service cycling team included a “morals turpitude and drug clause” in contracts that called for severe penalties for cyclists who violated certain rules. Since the U.S. Postal Service is a government agency, anyone who defrauded the government by using anabolic steroids, erythropoeitin (EPO), or other banned substances or methods such as blood doping, could face serious criminal penalties. Ill-Informed Legislation to Address Steroid Use by New Jersey Cops

New Jersey legislators have introduced new bills to address the use of anabolic steroids by New Jersey law enforcement personnel. The proposed legislation is an ineffective, ill-informed knee-jerk response to an investigative series by the Newark Star-Ledger exposing the high-number of cops obtaining prescriptions for anabolic steroids. Cyclist Commits Suicide Amidst Steroid / Doping Investigation

Alberto Leon, a former mountain bike racer, was found dead in his home outside of Madrid in what appeared to be a suicide.  Leon was one of several people implicated in Operación Galgo (Greyhound). Operación Galgo is the codename for a Spanish doping investigation that uncovered large quantities of anabolic steroids, stored blood bags and medical equipment used for transfusions during raids across the Iberian peninsula last year by La Guardia Civil.
