Former NFL Cheerleader Arrested for Steroid Possession

Samantha Baker, a former New England Patriot cheerleader in 2002, was arrested at her boyfriend’s house after police targeted Vincent Papagano as the alleged mastermind behind a high volume drug trafficking business involving marijuana, anabolic steroids, and other illicit drugs. Police seized 35 pounds of marijuana, large quantities of anabolic steroids and prescription drugs after a three-month investigation by the Braintree Police and the United States Postal Inspection Service. Barry Bonds Testicles and His Mistress’ Nude Playboy Pictorial

Barry Bonds has denied intentionally using anabolic steroids when he played baseball. The federal government wants to prove he is lying about his steroid use and they are using millions of dollars of American taxpayer money to prove it.

Their star witness may very well be Kimberley Bell, the former mistress of Barry Bonds. Bonds attorneys feel that if Bell is allowed to talk about their client’s head size, testicular size, and his temper, then it is only fair to allow jurors to see her nude Playboy pictorial. Bell appeared in the November 2007 issue of Playboy.

The government doesn’t like this and wants Playboy barred from the courtroom. [Read more…]

Louisiana Steroid Dealers Face Unconstitutional Drug Tax

Steroid dealers in Louisiana have been required to pay a special drug tax for the past two decades. Convicted steroid dealer Todd Matherne onced owed $52 million dollars in taxes to the Louisiana Department of Revenue for steroids he sold under the Zencall Labs label. Matherne pleaded guilty to six steroid-related charges and served three years of a seven year prison sentence.

Matherne did not learn about Louisiana’s “drug stamp law” until after he was released from prison when trying to “rebuild his life”. He filed a lawsuit against the State of Louisiana calling the $52 million tax unconstitutional claiming it was in violation of the prohibition against “cruel and unusual punishment”. [Read more…]

Steve Corbersmith received a suspended sentence and avoids prison after pleading guilty to selling anabolic steroids and generic sildenafil (Viagra) via an internet website at SLCHealth-Fitness.com.

The Clacton Gazette website claims that customers who purchased products from SLCHealth-Fitness.com are at risk of contracting HIV and/or Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease (CJD). This appears to be nothing more than hysteria and propaganda by the Gazette. [Read more…]

The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and Ad Council have decided to reinvigorate the neglected “Don’t Be An Asterisk” anti-steroid campaign by creating a new gateway page for the website and changing its name to the “Play Asterisk Free” anti-steroid campaign.

The new website for “Play Asterisk Free” leads to the original “Don’t Be An Asterisk” website which has remained unchanged after 30 months but also encourages visitors to visit the new Facebook page where they can “pledge” to “play asterisk free”. Australian Defence Force Launch Steroid “Scare Campaign”

The Australian Defence Force has launched a “scare campaign” discouraging the use of anabolic steroids and performance-enhancing drugs among military personnel according to the Sydney Morning Herald. This is response to the perception of a steroid abuse problem among troops in Afghanistan after seven special forces soldiers  were caught using and/or in possession of anabolic steroids.

According to the steroid pamphlets published by the Australian Defence Force Mental Health Strategy (ADFMHS), the ADF has a zero tolerance policy on the use of anabolic steroids. [Read more…]
