Police have accused a 24-year old amateur bodybuilder of being a “key distributor” of anabolic steroids in Anchorage, Alaska. Brion Ingram, a competitor at the 2011 NPC Alaska State Championships in April 2010, was highly involved in the local “bodybuilding culture” according to police.

Vice detectives began a three-month investigation into his extracurricular activities after a confidential informant told them that Ingram sold anabolic steroids and marijuana.

Detective made three undercover purchases from Ingram over the summer before arresting him. Ingram sold 300 tablets of Dianabol, one vial of testosterone cypionate and 11 grams of marijuana during the first purchase on June 29th. They learned that Ingram could supply hard drugs when he sold them a baggie full of methamphetamine for $900 in July. They finally arrested him after arranging to purchase 30 grams of MDMA (Ecstasy) in the parking lot of the local Fred Meyers supermarket on September 1st.

Ingram faces three felony charges (and one misdemeanor charge) involving a controlled substance. He was hit with a felony count of tampering with evidence after he ran away from police during the last exchange leaving a “halo of white powder” behind.
