Treasure Coast Pharmacy filled anabolic steroid prescription orders for clients of two anti-aging and hormone replacement clinics whose owners are serving sentences in federal prison after pleading guilty to charges related to the distribution of anabolic steroids and human growth hormone (HGH).
Treasure Coast Pharmacy provided steroids to clients of Infinity Longevity between 2005 and 2007 according to an investigation by the Albany County District Attorney’s Office in New York. Anthony Forgione pleaded guilty to charges arising from the investigation into Infinity Fitness and was sentenced to five years probation.
Forgione was indicted once again after referring clients to Lifetime Wellness in Missouri. Lifetime Wellness also chose Treasure Coast Pharmacy to fill its anabolic prescription orders for testosterone, oxandrolone and other steroids. Forgione again pleaded guilty to steroid-related charges arising out of the Lifetime Wellness investigation. He is currently serving a 20-month federal prison sentence.
A six-month investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration into Treasure Coast Pharmacy revealed the dispensing of almost 11,000 anabolic-androgenic steroid and human growth hormone orders solely between October 2010 and March 2011. Federal and state agents have seized numerous records from Treasure Coast Pharmacy. Any connections to other hormone replacement clinics have not yet been made public.
