A Massachusetts steroid dealer was arrested after a three-month investigation by the United States Postal Inspectors and the Rutland Police Department. John Moses was charged with eleven counts of selling anabolic steroids to college students at Worcester State University and Anna Maria College.
The investigation began as authorities intercepted steroids that were mailed to a customer in Rutland. Police arrested Moses as he was driving into town in his white 1997 Chevrolet Corvette. The sports car was seized and unspecified quantities of anabolic steroids including vials of testosterone enanthate and unidentified pills and powders were seized.
The 2010 graduate of Anna Maria College was released on $2500 bail and placed on pretrial probation. A hearing on the steroid charges is scheduled for March 29, 2011 at the Western Worcester District Court.
