Pro wrestler Jeff Hardy just become TNA world heavyweight champion after winning the main event “Against All Odds” on February 13, 2011 in Orlando. However, Hardy has yet to put an anabolic steroid and drug trafficking case behind him after his court case was postponed yet again.
Jeffrey Nero Hardy was arrested on September 11, 2009 after the Moore County Sheriff’s Office and Fayetteville Police Department executed a search warrant at Hardy’s North Carolina home and discovered 262 Vicodins, 180 Somas, 555 milliliters of unidentified anabolic steroids, cocaine powder residue and related drug paraphernalia.
It emerged in January 2011 that Moore County Assistant District Attorney Peter Strickland and Jeff Hardy are working on a plea agreement. The next court date has been rescheduled for March 16, 2011.
