A Canadian man pleaded guilty this week to two counts of assault arising from an altercation with his fiancée . James Watters faces jail time after admitting to domestic violence that occurred in November 2010. Possession of Underground Lab Steroids is Illegal in the United Kingdom
A British bodybuilder pleaded guilty to the possession of anabolic steroids after learning that steroid possession is legal in the United Kingdom only when the steroids are in the form of a “medical product”. This has been interpreted to exclude steroids manufactured by underground laboratories (UGLs). Treasure Coast Pharmacy Indicted Along with Doctors Who Wrote Steroid Prescriptions
An investigation into Treasure Coast Pharmacy codenamed “Operation Juice Doctor 2” has resulted in the indictment of thirteen individuals. The arrests come several weeks after the pharmacy was raided by federal and state agents in June 2011. The co-defendants face charges for the illegal distribution of anabolic steroids, human growth hormone and oxycodone. Treasure Coast Pharmacy was one of the largest suppliers of anabolic steroids in the United States according to the government. The indictment named the principal owners and pharmacists associated with Treasure Coast. Prosecutors also took the additional step of charging the owners and “sales consultants” of anti-aging and hormone replacement clinic owners who used Treasure Coast to fill steroid prescriptions for their clients. Cop Who Used Text Messaging to Buy Steroids Pleads Guilty
A Philadelphia Police officer who used text messaging to order illegal steroids has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids and two counts of possession with intent to distribute anabolic steroids. Beware Grown Men Who Outgrow Their Clothes Especially If They Use Steroids
A man accused of murdering his ex-wife outgrew his clothes, presumably with the help of anabolic steroids, in the months preceding the murder according to Virginia State Police. Former Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy Jonathan Agee was driving his marked police vehicle when he confronted Jennifer Agee in a parking lot in Roanoke. Jonathan Agee then fatally shot her with an assault rifle from his police cruiser. Douglas “Big Doug” Birstler, the owner of “D’s Muscle Box”, was charged with the possesssion and sale of controlled substances.
