Barry Bonds Appeals Conviction in Steroids Case

It seemed like one of the most high profile steroid scandals of the last decade had finally come to an end in 2011. Barry Bonds was found guilty of obstruction of justice and sentenced to two years probation, 30 days home confinement, 250 hours of community service and a $4,000 fine. The sentencing marked the end of the $75 million dollor government witch-hunt involving Barry Bonds – or so it seemed. But now it may take another 18 months before we see the conclusion. Surfers Use Steroids Too

The use of anabolic steroids has invaded the sport of surfing according to the international governing body that regulates the sport. At least they have been convinced that steroids represent a big problem in surfing. Sports writers tend to have an irrational hatred of anabolic steroid use in sports such as baseball. The use of steroids remains an unforgiveable sin that can not be overlooked. Steroids Positive Costs Turkish Women’s Olympic Gold Medalist a Lifetime Ban

Turkish weightlifter Nurcan Taylan tested positive for anabolic steroids during anti-doping protocols in October 2011. The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) tested national weightlifters in Turkey during this time. Ten Bodybuilders Caught Using Steroids at the 2011 Arab Games

The sport of bodybuilding suffered a major embarrassment at the 2011 Pan Arab Games in the Qatari capital of Doha after ten bodybuilders tested positive for anabolic steroids. The gold medalist is almost every weight class was disqualified for the use of steroids.
