Reggie “Mr. October” Jackson recently told Sports Illustrated that he felt anabolic steroid use disqualified Major League Baseball players from consideration in the Hall of Fame. If a steroid user was elected to the Hall of Fame by the Baseball Writers Association of America, Jackson predicted that their induction would be boycotted by current Hall of Famers. Brazilian Olympic Swimmer Busted Using Anabolic Steroids
The Confederação Brasileira de Desportos Aquáticos (CBDA), the federation that oversees the sport of swimming in Brazil, suspended an Olympic swimmer after an anti-doping urinalysis revealed evidence of anabolic steroid use. Glauber Silva tested “positive” for testosterone after failing the testosterone-epitestosterone (T:E) ratio test. United States District Judge Reggie Walton released the names of all eight women and four men (along with four alternates) who served on the Roger Clemens jury. The names were provided in response to a Washington Post application filed shortly after the jury acquitted the former Major League Baseball player of all six counts of obstruction of Congress, false statements and perjury. Major League Baseball player Marlon Byrd has been suspended for fifty games after violating the MLB Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Byrd tested positive for tamoxifen. AXS Fitness Busted for Steroid Sales According to Spanish Authorities
Spain’s Guardia Civil has arrested four men involved in the illegal distribution of anabolic steroids during an investigation codenamed “Operación Gym”. The steroid dealing allegedly operated out of a sports nutrition supplement store in the Madrid suburb of Las Rozas. The owner and an employee of ‘AXS Fitness Nutricion Deportiva’ were arrested at the store and two other individuals were arrested at their homes on June 5, 2012. [Read more…]

Rich “Goose” Gossage, the Major League Baseball relief pitcher who was inducted into the Hall of Fame after an impressive 22-year career, believes Roger Clemens lied about his use of anabolic steroids and human growth hormone (hGH).
