Steroid whistleblower Jose Canseco has been publicly defending Roger Clemens against allegations that Clemens used anabolic steroids and human growth hormone (hGH). David Segui May Testify for Government in Roger Clemens Steroid Trial

MMA Fighter Chael Sonnen Permitted to Use Anabolic Steroids
Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Chael Sonnen has been given permission to use the anabolic steroid testosterone by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC). Dr. Timothy Trainor, the NAC consulting physician, determined that Sonnen suffered from a legitimate medical condition identified as hypogonadism. Hypogonadism is a condition in which the body fails to produce adequate amounts of testosterone. Clemens Trial: Beer Can Contained Steroid Paraphernalia from Three Different Baseball Players
Brian McNamee, the former personal trainer for Roger Clemens, is the only government witness expected to testify with direct knowledge of Clemens’ use of anabolic steroids and human growth hormone (hGH). McNamee claims to have injected Clemens with anabolic steroids and performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) in 1998, 2000 and 2001. Clemens’ defense attorneys have worked to discredit McNamee by suggesting that his story of steroid use by the seven-time Cy Young Award winner has “evolved” and been altered “on the fly” over the years. Boxer Andre “The Beast” Berto tested positive for metabolites of the anabolic steroid nandrolone in an anti-doping test administered by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA). The former WBC welterweight champion was scheduled to meet Victor Ortiz in a rematch to regain the welterweight title on June 23, 2012 in Los Angeles. True Health Labs Underground Steroid Lab Busted
The owner and operator of an underground lab (UGL) that produced anabolic steroids under the label “True Health Labs” has been arrested. A 22-year old man was charged with manufacturing, selling, trafficking, producing and exporting anabolic steroids. True Health Labs was a Canadian UGL that had only been operating for a few months. The government’s star witness in the Roger Clemens court case has taken the stand this week. McNamee was Clemens personal trainer for several years who told Mitchell Report investigators, under threat of federal prosecuation and jail time, that he injected Clemens with anabolic steroids and human growth hormone. To support his allegations of steroid use, McNamee provided federal investigators with a beer can containing used syringes and needles containing traces of illegal steroids mixed with Clemen’s blood along with bloody gauze pads.
